Boksa Marine Design Marks 1,000th Project Milestone

(Tampa, Florida; September 14, 2026) - Boksa Marine Design (BMD), a leading naval architecture and marine engineering firm, announces completion of its 1,000th project. The milestone comes as the Tampa-based company marks 23 years in the marine industry.

Boksa Marine Design’s work has spanned commercial and recreational vessels since its founding, to include specialized government vessels and full-service concept-to-delivery offerings. Founder, CEO, and senior engineer, Nick Boksa, guides the firm’s long-term engineering direction while also supporting clients on high-impact projects.

As BMD marks this milestone, it also expands its offerings into Shoreside Electrical Engineering, designed to accelerate vessel electrification, shore-power integration, and climate-resilience upgrades for U.S. maritime facilities. The new service will modernize marine operations designed to support ferry terminals and operators; ports and shipyards; industrial and cargo terminals; and docks and marinas.
